Cody

Clinic Administrator

Cody has been a pet owner her entire life. After spending 17 years in the human healthcare field, she had a thought: why not combine her medical background with her passion for animals? A career in veterinary medicine was the perfect choice!

Cody is originally from northern Illinois and also lived in Nashville, Tennessee for a number of years before relocating to Colorado with her husband. She joined the Teller Park Veterinary Service family shortly afterward—Cody’s favorite part of her work is educating the area’s pet owners on the best possible care techniques for their animal companions.

In her time away from the hospital, Cody likes exploring Colorado in her family’s vintage Jeeps. She and her husband have two wonderful sons and also share their lives with four dogs, two cats, and a pair of rabbits.

After two years, she decided to make a change and follow her heart—she took a leap of faith and joined the world of animal care! Now, she’s proud to serve pets and their owners daily as a member of Teller Park Veterinary Service’s care team.

Bonnie

Pet Hostess

Ever since she was young, Bonnie has had a deep affection for animals. She’s always owned dogs, bred Golden retrievers for several years, and now owns horses. As a receptionist at Teller Park Veterinary Service, she gets to do her part to contribute to the happiness of animals and pet owners every day!

After choosing to be off work for about two years, Bonnie decided it was time to return to the workforce part-time. Any job wouldn’t do, though—Bonnie wanted something that she would enjoy doing! One day, Dr. Lemons came to Bonnie’s home to give her mare a vaccine. Dr. Lemons mentioned that her clinic was looking to hire a receptionist and that Bonnie ought to talk to the Office Manager, Patti, if she was interested in a job. Dr. Lemons’ timing couldn’t have been more perfect!

Bonnie likes to do a bit of everything around the clinic, from managing the front desk to assisting the Veterinary Technicians when they need an extra hand. She likes to use the clinic environment as a learning opportunity, and soaks up all the animal-related knowledge she can from Dr. Lemons and her staff.

Bonnie and her husband have been married for over 26 years. They have two grown sons: Jacob works at a veterinary clinic in Texas and is currently studying to become a veterinarian himself. Tanner trains reigning horses and works for a prestigious trainer in Arizona.

At home, Bonnie has two dogs named Riggs and Gunner. She and her husband also own multiple horses, and have been delving into the horse breeding world in the past few years.

Aside from her passions in the veterinary field, Bonnie is also a First Sergeant in the Army National Guard. She’s been in the military for a total of 27 years, and is honored to serve her country as a soldier.
