COVID-19 Update

To our Teller Park Veterinary Service Family:

We are committed to staying open during this challenging time but will follow the lead of the CDC in minimizing risk to our staff and clients during this acute phase of COVID-19. We have implemented the following plan to reduce the risk to our clients, staff and facility while maintaining excellent quality of care to your precious furry family members:

*We must be a ‘no handshake and no hugs’ facility until further notice. We will be sending out virtual hugs instead!

*”Curbside appointments” will be offered for all currently scheduled appointments. Please call our office at (719) 687-2201 when you arrive and a staff member will greet you at your car as soon as possible. We will bring your pet inside for examination and the doctor will communicate with you outside or by phone.

*For more critically affected patients, we will allow one person per pet in the exam room.

*When a staff member calls to let you know your medications or food are available, payment can be made over the phone at that time to streamline a quick pick up “curbside”.

*If you are housebound and cannot find a neighbor or family member who can drop off your sick pet, please call us and we will make what arrangements we can to take care of your pet.

*We have ramped up disinfecting practices even further between each visit.

We apologize for any inconvenience but feel these steps are necessary to protect our staff so that we can remain open to care for your beloved critters.
