Dr. Wendy Sobotik

Veterinarian

Dr. Wendy Sobotik’s passion for veterinary medicine began early, sparked by her involvement in FFA (Future Farmers of America) and her high school job at a veterinary clinic. These formative experiences cemented her decision to pursue a career in animal care, leading her to Texas A&M University, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

Dr. Sobotik launched her career in mixed animal practice, where she treated a variety of species and embraced the challenges of on-call work. Drawn to its fast pace, she then transitioned to emergency medicine where she felt she could make a meaningful impact in critical moments.

As the oldest of seven siblings, Dr. Sobotik thrives in an energetic environment, a skill she brings to both her professional and personal life. At home, she and her husband share their lives with a lively menagerie that includes five dogs (Maggie, Winston, Rocket, Douglas, and Diana), and two cats.

In her free time, Dr. Sobotik enjoys immersing herself in a good book, gardening, exploring nature through hiking, and traveling to new places.
