I have been with Teller Park Veterinary Service since 2001 after several years in Abilene, TX. I took over the practice in 2005.
Being hands on with the patients, taking the time to sit and talk with owners and my skill at surgery and dentistry are all my favorite parts of why I do what I do.
I love dentistry. There are so many things we cannot fix but we can fix dental issues and relieve a pet of pain that they do not complain about but we know it is there. I love being a part of improving their quality of life.
I have met an amazing array of fur kids! I love the puppy kisses and my amazing staff here !
In my time away from work I am obsessed with dressage. I train with my awesome young horse several times a week. I am an obsessive mystery reader, and I also enjoy fly fishing and knitting projects.
I have been at TPVS going on 3 years and this was my first Veterinary clinic I have worked at. I started as a Kennel Assistant and worked up to a Veterinary Assistant, and I am working towards Veterinary Technician. Since I was very little, I have always had a strong passion for horses and dream of becoming an Equine Veterinarian eventually. Veterinary medicine is so exciting and fulfilling. My heart is full when I get to assist with a sick patient and help them feel better! I just got married to my best friend in July and him and I share a love for the outdoors. From hiking, fishing, and shed hunting, we enjoy the beautiful area Colorado has to offer. I am originally from Louisiana and I am very blessed to live here in the mountains. I am very thankful for this clinic and the opportunities I have.
I started in the field as a Tech Assistant over 20 years ago. I eventually received my certification in Canine Massage Therapy. In the course of time I realized I very much enjoyed the dynamic of people and pets and moved to reception.
I am a Colorado native and currently live in Lake George with my husband and our new Aussie puppy, Cappo. I enjoy all things Colorado. My hobbies include fishing, hiking and anything outdoors!
I went into this field at 16 and never left. I can not remember a time that I did not want to work with animals. I attended Tech school directly after high school and have been a Tech since 2013. I really enjoy the rehabilitation and behavior areas of the field. I have been married for 4 years and we have 2 kids and 6 fur kids. I really enjoy cooking, painting and hiking.
I have been in the veterinary field for around 12 years. I started as an assistant in the surgery department and worked my way up to a technician. Since I was a kid I have been around pets and livestock and have never not had a love for all animals. I truly have a passion for trauma and emergency surgeries and being in that fast paced environment of being able to save an animal. I also have a desire to educate owners on how to help and better understand their pets.I live in Deckers right off the river and am an avid fly fisher. I also love snowboarding, hiking and golf.
I have always been very passionate about medicine and wildlife. This led me to getting my certification for Veterinary Assistant through PIMA. I have been in the field about 5 years. I love doing dentals and Cystomoys. My family and I recently moved to Guffey. We’re very active and love hunting together, camping, off roading and all our animals and livestock. My goal is to eventually travel and help with animal rehab centers around the country.
I am newer to this field, having started about three years ago. I have been involved with customer service for over ten years. I have found I very much enjoy working with pet owners and it’s always so nice to see good people wanting the best for their babies. Combining my love for animals, helping people and administrative work has been so rewarding. I love Teller Park Vet and working with all of our wonderful staff. They’re truly the most caring and most fun to work with. My family and I have recently relocated to Tennessee and I still have the privilege of being part of this team. I have an affinity for Great Pyrenees and most furry big animals! My husband and I are expecting our second baby in December and just trying to live life to the fullest as it comes!
